I was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. But I didn’t really grow up until I moved to Chicago.

My husband, a detective with the CPD, likes to call me a “blow-in,” but I’ve lived here nearly 11 years. In that time, I’ve voted in every election, I’ve been married, had two kids, purchased a home and paid Cook County and Chicago taxes. I’ve earned the right to my opinions, criticism and praise of city life. I am so NOT a blow-in, honey. :-)

Here, I’ll write about my enthusiasm for and my frustration with Chicago, motherhood, married life and my chosen career, marketing.
